Exciting Medieval Mystery News

Some very exciting news! I have found a publisher for Muirteach #4, THE DEATH OF A FALCON. Muirteach’s fourth adventure will be published in July, 2017, by Bagwyn Books. Bagwyn is the fiction imprint of the Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and I’m thrilled to be working with them on this. THE DEATH OF A FALCON will be available in paperback and electronic format–stay tuned for more details.

On another front, I have re-issued A MASS FOR THE DEAD and THE FAERIE HILLS in paperback format. I’m finding I greatly prefer reading paper books, rather than e-readers, and I thought other folks might also prefer to read a paperback. These are the first and second mysteries in the Muirteach MacPhee series. Jenny Quinlan, at Historical Editorial has designed some fabulous new covers for these paperback editions. Here’s a link to her site with more about the covers. http://www.historicalfictionbookcovers.com/2017/03/a-mass-for-dead-faerie-hills.html They are now available via Amazon and can be ordered via Ingram by independent bookstores. Or you can purchase directly from me; just contact me via my website.

In the paperback edition of THE FAERIE HILLS  I have included a “bonus Novelette”.  ‘The Watergate” was originally published in e-book format last year, and is included in this paperback volume.   Katherine Ingram just published a nice review of “The Watergate” on her blog, Reading the Ages. http://myainbookblog.blogspot.com/`
