About Susan

Susan McDuffie writes historical mystery novels set in medieval Scotland. Fascination with the past and her own Scottish clan history led Susan to create the Muirteach MacPhee medieval mysteries, set during the 14th century Lordship of the Isles. The series includes A MASS FOR THE DEAD, THE FAERIE HILLS (2011 New Mexico Book Awards “Best Historical Novel”) and THE STUDY OF MURDER (New Mexico Book Awards Finalist 2014). Muirteach’s latest adventure, DEATH OF A FALCON, is now available in paperback and ebook.
